For more information, visitwww.Telesat.ComPURPOSE OF JOBThe Project Coordinator, will work in close collaboration with the Managers andProgram Managers in the System Operations team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Create the internal communication plan and publish internal newsletter for Operations SegmentOversees and manages project documentation and coordinates documentation revisions and distributions.Prepares standard project status reports for project delivery team or work group, client and management.

Reports typically include: status update, budget, schedule and risk.Coordinates and schedules meeting and communication plan(s) regarding projects among team and/or client.Coordinates change orders, with vendors.Enters project information data (i.E.

project status updates, schedule updates, cash flow forecasts) and project documentation into project management technology toolsCoordinates collection of required documents for project audit.Assists Project Manager in maintaining project metrics for SLA & KPI’s.Assists with project administration deliverables (i.E.

meeting minutes; budget tracking; schedule updates; closeout).Facilitates and prepares for the Change Control Board meetingsFacilitate and prepares for the Governance CallsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDA bachelor in communication or project management is idealProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteMust be an organized self-starter, possess a strong work ethic, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, great attention to detail, the ability to recognize discrepancies and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyPossess a strong work ethic and ability to persevere when challengedEffective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skillsAbility to work well under pressure with a focus on deadlines, using initiative and requiring minimal supervision.A minimum of 1-2 years’ work experience in related field/position is preferred.

DECISION MAKING & SUPERVISION:Decision Making In this role, the incumbent will supporting the director and program managers.

They will need to make recommendations and decisions based on their experience.

Supervision ExercisedThis role has no direct reports, but will work and interact with multi-disciplinary Program Managers, Managers and Vendors.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Working conditions are generally comfortable typical of an office environment.Occasional overtime may be required.
