For more information, visitwww.Telesat.Com.Role overview:The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for increasing the commercial teams productivity through the design, development of sales and sales partner processes and adoption of the Business Support Systems (BSS) platforms enabling these processes.ResponsibilitiesSales operations and enablement supportCoordinate and prepare sales materials, sales documents for sales team useDefine and document sales policies, processes, procedures, and tools that maintain the accuracy and integrity of sales dataSet up operational tools for commercial team useEnsure that reporting processes and reporting tools are in place and ready for useEnsure sales aids and tool libraries are up to date and maintainedFacilitate sales customer engagement reviews and feedback sessionsCommunicate any new ways of working for the Telesat commercial organizationPlan and organize commercial training events and programs as requiredAssist with sales support tool selection and implementation where applicableManage task assignments, work arrangements and other department expectations as required by the commercial teamBusiness and system process designLead business process design and thinking w.R.T.

key commercial business processes in sales and sales support.Support sales and marketing objectives through requirements gathering and the implementation of recommended solutionsCommunicate business requirements to systems implementation teamReview and validate system solutions against business requirementsPipeline and Bid managementEstablish policies, processes and toolsDefine and implement bid management processes and tools where necessary ensuring scalability to meet global demand requirementEnsure that new processes are communicated across the global organizationMonitor RFP/RFI response performance and continuously improve processOthersAdditional project work as requiredBuild team responsible for above functionsRequirements10+ years experience in B2B sales environmentExperience in telecommunications or satellite industry a plusSales operations and enablement experienceExperience working with internal direct sales and external partner programsExperience with sales/system tool/CRM implementations and roll outsStrategic, long-term thinkerStrong interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsBachelor’s Degree preferredTravel as needed
