Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Labour/Industrial Relations or equivalent education Five years of progressive labour relations experience including spokesperson experience in collective bargaining Experience in health care and/or manufacturing is an asset Superior communication and interpersonal skills Sound judgment, tact, and discretion Ability to collaborate without unduly delaying deliverables Required to develop effective relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders Ability to contribute in a professional team environment Ability to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and make recommendations when information may be limited Must challenge your way of thinking and to be open to feedback Extensive knowledge of employment and labour-related legislation, jurisprudence, and principles Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability in dispute resolution, investigative methods, as well as negotiation, mediation and facilitation This position requires travel on a regular basis
