PwC Canada is sourcing for an Security Assessment and Authorization (SA& A) Specialist, for a contract with our Canadian Federal Government Client.CLIENT:Canadian Federal GovernmentENGAGEMENT TYPE: Registered Independent Contract (IC)LOCATION:Ottawa Area, Ontario Remotely (Onsite Depending on the status of COVID-19)DURATION: ASAP March 31st 2022, plus extensionsMANDATORY SECURITY CLEARANCE:Secret (Level II)Project Description:PwC Canada holds an ongoing multi-year master contract with our client, and we are required to provide a a Senior Consultant (minimum 10 years of experience) to update and develop the required SA& A package for the existing core ERP systems.

The scope will also include the support for the development of security artefacts for the new Milestone based projects, involving the Modernization, Logistics, Financial Planning & Forecasting, Readiness and other projects as partof the ERP system modernization.

The SA& A package will be required for each new ERP system interface, the peripheral system, and overall capability.

Each SA& A package may consist ofa SoS, a TRA, a Security Concept of Operations, and a Security Profile with several controls identified.

Other supporting documentation may also be required and will be identified while addressing each of the controls.Tasks and duties include:Conduct and/or manage IT Security SA& A assessments that include: security impact assessments, threat risk assessments, vulnerabilities assessments, privacy impact assessments, and business impact assessments; Review, analyze, create and/or update relevant SA& A documentation such as: Concept of Operation, IT Security Architecture, Statement of Sensitivity, and Statement of Acceptable Risk; Analyze, review, and make recommendations concerning the IT security posture of the existing ERP system, interfaces, functionality and associated systems such as EIE; Assess compliance with applicable departmental security policies and standards which are based on Government of Canada guidelines; Review design deliverables for compliance with security requirements; andProvide knowledge transfer to the end client, and other contracted resources through formal documentation, informal sessions and job shadowing on an on-going basis.In order to be eligible,the applicants must offer the following experience:Eligible candidates must offer a minimum 10 years (120 months) of demonstrated experience within their resume, providing this niche security skillset; Providing updated SA& A package for existing ERP system and its associated systems, such as the EIE system.Managing new SA& A packages for a new ERPsystem interface, ERP system capability, and/or ERP system peripheral system such as EIE,Updating the IT Security Architecture, Security Concept of Operations, security framework, Statement of Sensitivity, Statement of Acceptable risk and strategy documents for each SA& A package;Documenting the security impact assessments for any changes to the existing ERP system.

These documents will provide guidance to the ERP system Team on the measures required to ensure changes do not affect the security posture of the existing ERP system; Documenting thesecurity optimization recommendations to address identified risks; Performing knowledge transfer (KT) sessions, presentations and documentation related to the measures need to secure the existing ERP system, in the form of a PowerPoint presentation or a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) with the appropriate level of detail; andPerforming knowledge transfer (KT) for the ERP system Management should be at a conceptual level, where-as for the Security Team could be both conceptual and detailed “how-to steps” found in an SOP.IMPORTANT:Applicant must hold active Secret (Level II) security clearance, upon application.Applicant must be an independent consultantSubmit a detailed resume in MS Word file format.Only qualified candidates will be contacted.No staffing agencies will be accepted.PwC Flex Resources Recruiting is a division of PwC Management Services LP.We recruit for Professional Consultants for both the Private and Public sector across Canada.
