Proposal Centre Manager – Consulting Practice

The individual will own the following responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Proposal Centre team focused on BDO Canada’s Consulting service lines, including overseeing the activities of staff members focused on Intake, Proposal Production and Content Management Gather proposal information by identifying sources of information, coordinating submissions and collections and identifying and communicating risks associated with proposals Determining proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for proposal (RFPs) and attending proposal strategy meetings Develop and maintain templates that can be re-used and modified by proposal writers for different proposals and sales presentations/documents; following proposal-writing standards and maintaining proposal support databases Improve proposal-writing results by evaluating and re-designing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate; implementing changes Develop and manage various content that can be used by the proposal writers, including descriptions of services, case studies, candidate CVs etc.

Obtain approvals by reviewing proposals with key providers and project managers Prepare presentations by evaluating text, graphics, and binding; coordinating printing Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, meetings, approvals, etc.
