We’re proud to be a long-standing and trusted service provider to many of the region’s most successful commercial real estate owners and tenants.Scope of PositionInside Edge Properties is currently looking for a full-time Property Manager to join our team.

This position reports directly to the Director of Property Management with support provided by the Property Administrator.

The opportunity exists for this individual to build a long-term career with a dynamic, growing and reputable group.Accountable for overseeing a high profile mixed use commercial portfolio this individual will be responsible to work towards the attainment of corporate objectives.

Continuously improve the property management process, but also to ensure that appropriate respect and attention is given to our clients and existing/prospective tenants.Responsibilities:Oversee a mixed commercial portfolio of high profile properties.Liaise directly with clients and tenants to ensure their requirements are met.Annually develop a portfolio wide budget as well as a long-term capital plan for the portfolio.Monitor budgets and coordinate construction projects as required to maintain the portfolio to the best possible standard.Oversee a property management team for the portfolio.Establish and maintain property management services standards for the portfolio.

Focusing on long range planning, service benchmarking, strategic vendor relationships, as well as energy management and sustainability.Implement service contracts for the portfolio and negotiate financial and legal terms to achieve best valueTroubleshoot and resolve building issues.Produce monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on multiple facets of the portfolio.Implement policies and procedures for all aspects of property management operations including customer relations.Skills and ExperienceCollege or University education in Architecture, Engineering, Business, Accounting or Facility Management.Minimum of 5 years of experience of commercial property management, with experience leading teams of 3-5 people.Strong knowledge of building systems and operations including, security and life safety, HVAC, Elevators, occupational health and safety and environmental compliance.Strong focus on customer service.Strategic thinker and self-starter who looks for new ways to improve property management services.A strong leader who provides direction, motivation and development for all staff.Strong organization skills with an ability to quickly prioritize and adjust style and plans when faced with unexpected situations.Advanced working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.Valid Driver’s License MandatoryMust be fluent in English.
