Main tasks and responsibilities: Coordinate and track project execution in collaboration with the Project Director on site, from design to completion (including document management, cost control, risk management, sourcing of materials and labor, quality management and environmental compliance, follow-up of data sheets and shop drawings, approval of change orders, commissioning, as well as health and safety; Setting up of project reporting procedures (cost reports – labor & material, site office procedures, document drawing control); Negotiating and issuing subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitoring their progress, schedule and conducting subcontract buyout; Prepare and manage the budget of the construction project; Plan, prepare and track implementation schedules; Work closely as part of the project management team to ensure continuous improvement and successful delivery of project; Understanding and enforcing contractual responsibilities, contract documents and resolving disputes; Assist the estimator and the management team in different related tasks; Requiredprofessional experience: Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the construction industry; Have great organization skills; Have a sense of leadership, team spirit and collaboration; Demonstrate professionalism and resourcefulness; Required training: Diploma in architectural or engineering; To be perfectly bilingual (French and English) (spoken and written); Have excellent capabilities of reading plans and specifications; Knowledgeof the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook); Knowledgeof the software Procore (an asset); Knowledgeof laws and regulations of construction; PMP and LEED accreditations are assets; Valid driver’s license and vehicle
