Our Valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Project Manager (7 years) to develop and manage operational and user requirements for various vehicle and land equipment projects.

Project Description: This project is responsible for providing operational direction and management advice for the acquisition of Land Command Support Systems (LCSS), Electronic Warfare (EW), Intelligence and Simulation systems, Mobility, Counter-Mobility, Survivability, and Sustainability Systems.

This would include supporting projects such as: Camp Sustain (CS) Project; Advanced Water Supply System (AWSS) Project; Joint Deployed Headquarters & Signal Regiment Modernization (JDHQSRM) Project; Canadian Forces Land Electronic Warfare Modernization (CFLEWM) Project; Land Command Support System (LCSS) Tactical Command and Control Information System Modernization (TC2ISM) Project; Combined Joint Intelligence Modernization (CJIM) Project; Advanced Improvised Explosive Device Detection and Defeat (AIEDDD) Project; and Tactical Power System (TPS) Project; Must Haves: 2 years of experience identifying user operational requirements for equipment or vehicles that were used for Canadian Army or a defence environment.

5 years supporting Canadian Army equipment, operations, and in-service support within defence environment.

Certified in; Army Technical Staff Officer, Army Technical Warrant Officer, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, or equivalent qualification.

The tasks may include, but are not limited to the following: Provide operational guidance on equipment projects in implementation and monitor against established goals and milestones Conduct project related analysis Establish and maintain project operational requirements Monitor in-service equipment and provide advice on issues that may affect operational capability or employment Staff Army capital equipment and miscellaneous requirement projects Direct projects through all stages of the acquisition process Coordinate and prepare project documentation listed in section Deliver project related briefings Undertake project planning, guidance and coordination activities Provide advice on procurement issues Develop plans for the evaluation and testing of operational equipment Assist in ensuring requirements conform to approved international standards Monitor various reports including post-operations reports and unsatisfactory condition reports in order to resolve equipment issues, and Contribute to strategic and business planning activities
