Job Title Project Manager Location Category Project Controls, Project Management, Property Management Job Type Full-time Job Responsibilities Ensure that project deliverables are satisfied through all phases of the project Work collaboratively with project managers, consultants, and clients to provide integrated project management services Participate in client discussions, provide analysis of functional and operational requirements of the client, and supervise and coordinate activities, including some administrative functions for the client Monitor and communicate project progress against the project plan, requirements, quality measures and milestones, and support the change management process as required.

Execute all project plans, including work plans, resource plans, risk management plans, etc Manage the Master Project Schedule, and develop and communicate updates to the client Manages budget and financial reporting, and interprets and analyzes reports to ensure adherence to project budget Qualifications Required Engineering, Architecture, Technical, Applied Science Degree or equivalent Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the province of Ontario or a licensed Architect (OAA) in the province of Ontario Completion of or in the process of achieving the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is highly desirable Have a minimum of four (4) years of experience managing and/or administering multi-discipline infrastructure projects Experience working on building projects with sustainability, accessibility, and heritage components an asset Experience working with public sector (Federal, Provincial, Municipalities, Universities, Schools, and Hospitals) clients an asset Experience on large infrastructure projects valued over $10 million with multi-disciplinary teams is considered a strong asset Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingualism is an asset (French/English) Ability to read and understand construction contract documents, including drawings and schematics Comprehensive knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Regulations for Construction Projects, and Quality Assurance and Control programs for construction projects, as well as the safety policies and procedures applicable to the construction contract Proven team player with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills Must have the ability to prioritize and adhere to strict deadlines Current or prior security clearance with the Federal Government at the secret level is desirable Comtech Group Inc.
