Manager of Training ServicesWe are looking for a Manager of Training Services who will bring our training organization to the next level.

Someone who will leverage training strategies, methods, and professionals to support Ross Video’s business goals.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Service Delivery Operations, the Training Services Manager should be passionate about technology, training design, and employee development.

If you have experience designing training programs and managing large training projects, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will help Ross Video succeed by developing its people so that we can better serve our customers.THE ROLE
· In consultation with Senior Management, Research and Development, and Human Resources, conduct a company-wide analysis to determine individual and organizational needs.
· Establish a vision for an internal technology, product and service accreditation plan.
· Create a curriculum design and development plan, including a sustainable maintenance approach.
· Leverage our Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate implementation.
· In close cooperation with internal business partners, periodically evaluate progress of the initiative and propose solutions for improvement.
· Share any ‘best practices’ that could improve ongoing customer training initiatives.
· Explore potential customer training certification initiatives (e.g., ‘Ross University’).
· Hire and oversee training and L&D specialists.
· Maintain budgets and relationships with training vendors and consultants.
· Manage existing/ongoing training initiatives.
· Establish a managed scheduling service to ensure Ross staff attend required and recommended training consistent with defined professional development plans
· Provide annual training reports indicating usage and completion
· Manage internal training budget to ensure Ross Video realizes maximum benefit for invested fundsWHAT YOU HAVE
· Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar in a technology field.
· Successful and identifiable track record of designing and implementing training programs.
· Proven experience establishing or managing a training certification program.
· Experience in project management and budgeting.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Current knowledge of traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, micro learning, simulations).
· Strong writing and record keeping ability for training manuals and reports.
· Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills; sharp business acumen.
· Ability to build rapport with employees and vendors.
· BA/MA in Adult Learning, Instructional Design or a related field.
· Professional training certification (e.g., CTDP) is a plus.
