Manager marketing communications


This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted August 13, 2019.

Manager, Marketing Communications needed for our progressive Nonprofit client located in the downtown core!

Reporting to the VP of Public Affairs, this is an opportunity to lead a new brand and corporate identity in developing and executing marketing programs for members, educational programs, and build overall awareness for this national association.If you are looking to take on a new challenge in a highly visible and key role apply now while this fantastic opportunity is still available!Roles and Responsibilities Develop and manage the implementation of marketing strategies to grow the company’s services.Create and implement marketing plans to grow member base and for annual conference.Measure and track the success of strategies and associated campaigns.Align local association priorities with national strategy and overall organizational priorities.Identify venues to provide insightful and accurate industry content through various platforms.Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Act as the primary liaison with partners.Update, refresh, and create a compelling digital experience.Lead the integration of various platforms on affiliated websites.Promote the industry and create a compelling experience for members and stakeholders.Manage marketing budgets and measure success of strategies.Qualifications and ExperienceUniversity degree in marketing, communications, or similar program is ideal5+ years’ experience in a similar role3+ years’ experience in a managerial role is mandatoryNon profit experience / working with an association is a major assetEducation and CertificationsMinimum education required: Bachelor’s DegreeThis client offers:Full benefitsExtra vacation timeFlex hoursFlexible start time 8am-4pm or 9am-5pmGrowth opportunities We are an inclusive employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
