We focus on using the latest technology to reduce the level of manual testing ensuring you’ll focus on the most valuable areas of client service and on enhancing corporate governance and the reliability of our clients’ information.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and aboveBe involved in the financial management of clientsBe actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clientsDevelop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clientsManage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the teamShape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteriaTrain, coach, and supervise team membersContinue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brandAs a Senior Manager on our audit team, you’ll:Take on a professional role as part of our client-facing teamsExamine financial and accounting records, other documents, and tangible items such as inventory, or plant and equipment, or watch certain processes and procedures being performedAsk a range of questions from formal written questions to informal oral questions with a range of individuals at our client organizationsTest some of the client organization’s internal controlsMake judgments on significant estimates or assumptions that management made when they prepared their financial reportVerify and test financial statements and supporting disclosuresAssuming a coaching performance management role that promotes staff developmentInstructing milestone training courses to our staff;Networking in the local business community;Preparation and delivery of competitive audit proposalsRequirements:CPA, CA designation or equivalent designationBA or BS in Accounting or Business discipline Minimum of seven years of audit experience in a professional services firmKnowledge of US GAAP/SEC, IFRSSOX experience would be an asset;Excellent project management skills and ability to manage relationships at all levels within PwC and within the client’s organization;Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environmentDemonstrate an ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environmentThorough technical skills and experience regarding applicable accounting reporting and auditing standardsExperience in the design of engagement procedures based on risk and materialityPrevious experience in leading discussions with engagement teams Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required:Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel RequirementsUp to 40%Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?NoGovernment Clearance Required?NoJob Posting End DatePwC is committed to building a diverse workforce representative of the communities we serve.
