The position at a glance Americas Finance & Tax is the key financial partner to the business, providing expertise on financial and tax implications of new products and business trends.

The group provides value added analysis and advisory services to its clients in the areas of accounting, control, regulatory compliance, systems and business development, while simultaneously supporting core financial accounting, reporting, and control activities.

Responsibilities: The head of the business management team is responsible for providing administration and operational support to the Finance & Tax department, the position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Main responsibilities include: Supervise the centralization of the resource request process for the CIB Finance CFO (contingent, permanent, VIEs, etc).

Collaborate with hiring managers, Procurement, Central Finance, and others to request new resources.

Includes maintaining KPI recruitment dashboard.

Supervise the end-to-end IHC and CIB Policy Governance process, includes managing the day-to-day policy governance operations with the assistance of the ISPL and partnering with the Central Policy Office (CPO) ensuring policies are renewed timely and comply with CPO and Group guidelines.

Oversee the maintenance of the Finance & Tax Department Business Continuity plan (BCP) and Business Impact Analysis (BIAs).

Partner with the Business Continuity Management and Finance & Tax management team to proactively update the BCP and BIAs.

Coordinate various Business Continuity testing and assist with various business continuity related issues.

Manage the governance reporting requirements of the US Functions and NAR Finance & Tax platform and time tracking tool.

Lead and implement transversal administrative and organizational initiatives.

Support the Canada platform and any NAR ad-hoc requests.

Manage the ISPL Business Management team supporting Finance & Tax day-to day operational activities.

The strengths and skills that will help you succeed A broad set of experiences within an organization, including resource management, financial management, analysis, and inter-departmental relations.

Experience within an organisation, including resource management, financial management, analysis and interservice relations Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills; gained over 7 to 10 years.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to multi-task and explain complex issues clearly and concisely.

Executive presence – able to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Ability to work effectively in geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.

Strong self-direction and initiative; willingness to take complete ownership over projects and tasks.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
