We are looking for a customer-oriented, motivated individual to join our professional team as a Shop Lead Mechanic at our Ottawa Merivale Branch.

What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Delegate & Direct fellow mechanics on equipment that is required.
- Communicate regularly with Parts & Service Coordinator about all service issues including long term repairs, urgent repairs, parts required, etc.
- Ensure and inspect all work to make sure all standards are being met.

Perform daily PDI and repairs as needed.

Ensure Cleanliness & organization of shop & shop equipment is maintained.

Support & Participate in company safety objectives.

Work closely with team members and act as a lead when guidance is needed to complete a project.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of two year related experience
-
Able to work independently.

Good organizational skills.
-
Valid driver’s license in good standing (will be required to provide a copy of Driver’s abstract).

Must have your own tools.

Willing to work overtime, on occasional weekends (when required) as well as being on an on-call schedule.

Strong diagnostic ability as well as being capable of reading schematics.
