– Above Industry Average Comprehensive Benefits after probationary period Medical, Dental, Paramedical, Vision, Pension, and more Positive work culture that values learning opportunities Advancement opportunities Employee Appreciation and a Family Oriented environment Support community involvement and volunteering Work Hours: Full-time opportunity Monday – Friday Start time: 6:00 am Average 10/12 hours a day Must be available Saturdays (during peak season and Holiday coverage) Location: London, ON Responsibilities: Operating a Garbage Truck or Recycle Truck Responsible for various types of residential curbside pickup Garbage, yard waste, organics and recycling Drive and load, splitting the duties with another driver/loader Daily pre-and post-trip inspections of the vehicle Provide friendly and reliable service, completing daily routes as assigned Preform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs, from the ground into the hopper Collect and deliver to local transfer stations and landfills Requirements: DZ license required Clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs Must be able to drive and load Ability to work in all weather conditions Required to make 800 residential stops per day based on your route Must have steel-toed work boots above the ankle and a high visibility vest Must be available to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 10/12 hour days Job Type: Full-time Salary: $26.22 per hour Benefits: Casual dress Company pension Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision care Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Overtime Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay Ability to commute/relocate: London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience: General Labour: 1 year (preferred) DZ Driving: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: DZ license (required) Work Location: In person %7023923% %%driver%%
