Job description: JJS is looking for highly motivated candidate with a competitive fire to fill our Technical Sales Representative position for Eastern Canada.

Your self-starter attitude will be your strongest asset as you work both independently and in collaboration with our customer service team, distribution partner and end users, to ensure our sales targets will be met.

The position will report to the Regional Sales Manager (Quebec & Eastern Canada) and will have responsibility for an assigned geographical territory.

Key responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the customer relationship within the assigned account base; Lead sales efforts for products distributed by JJS to existing and potential customers; Implement programs and develop plans as defined by management to achieve sales objectives; Perform hands-on demonstrations and training; Participate in local exhibitions and client events; Implement sales plans and growth strategies for your territory; Prepare sales proposals and value propositions based on customer needs and expectations.

Qualifications / Requirements: Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or a related field; Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales of industrial products; Previous experience with coated abrasives and surface finishing is an asset; Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, with strong time-management and organization skills; Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; Exceptional negotiation and communication skills; Strong computer skills: Including Excel, PowerPoint, Word & CRM System; Ability to travel up to 80% of the time is required including some overnight travel; Bilingual (English / French) is an
