This role will be home-based and reporting to our Ontario sales office in Mississauga.

It reports to Ontario Sales Manager for Electrical.Do not miss the opportunity to join a broad family of people-centric professionals, leaders with vision and rapid problem solvers, entrepreneurs in spirit and status quo-fighters!Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for the sales activity for the Electrical products in the regions of Eastern Ontario (Oshawa/Peterborough/Ottawa/Kingston).

The job focus will be on servicing and growing existing business through regular visits to wholesale, contractor, engineering, and end-user customers.

Your objective will be to promote IPEX Electrical products to ensure continued growth and to improve the position of IPEX as a market leader.

An ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with distributors, collect market intelligence, develop a strong presence with major end-users, and developing Engineering relationships will be instrumental for success.Principal Responsibilities Present and conduct Lunch and learns with Contractors, Distributors, Utilities, and Specifier Attend and participate in regional conferences, display at trade shows, and distributor branch events to promote IPEX and its products Promote and follow-up on activities within assigned territory aimed at continuous sales opportunities and ensuring continued positive relationships with customers Tracks opportunities on projects and new products in CRM Negotiate electrical contracts to grow new and existing Markets/Products in order to acquire the best margins possible Perform various administrative duties such as reports; maintain customer Backlog, catalogues, Price Lists, literature review, and product presentation preparation Respond to product and service complaint reports within 24 hours of notification Participate on Cross-Functional Teams RequirementsQualifications & Experience Completion of a university degree, college diploma or CET designation Minimum of 2 years’ successful experience in sales and marketing activities within the construction or industrial industries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems A strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of value-selling Excellent communication and presentation skills The ability to work independently and as a phenomenal teammate with strong self-motivation Willingness for overnight travel IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
