Business Development Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

 – Outbound calling to customers
 – Building stakeholder relationships over the phone and in-person
 – B2B Sales over the phone and in person meetings
 – Lead development, Prospecting potential clientsContract management, service calls and providing excellent customer service
 – Listen and understand client business and hiring initiatives
 – Be resourceful, able to meet deadlines and be accountable for tasks assigned
 – Meet sales targets and activity measures on a weekly basis
 – Develop business with new and existing clients
 – Account manage existing accounts to retain solid relationships with customers
 – Generate sales leads, cold-call prospective clients and set up meetings in person with private sector firms

Qualifications and Experience

Must have:

 – Minimum 1-3 years sales experience with a proven track record for success
 – An ability to plan, organize and deliver against challenging sales targets and deadlines
 – A competitive and positive spiritHunger and a passion for business development
 – Amazing communication skills and attention to detailInfluencing, negotiating and selling skills to bring existing and potential clients to a place where
   they understand our value and role
 – Valid drivers license required
 – Canadian Citizenship required.Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
 – Must be able to obtain a valid security clearance, so meet the gov’t standards for living in Canada for the past 5 years.
 – ExcelHR will sponsor the clearance.

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma

The position is primarily sales/account management, and best suited to those who have sales experience and out bound calling.

Preference given to applicants who have worked with targets, goals and deadline driven environments.
