Roles and Responsibilities

  • As an Account Manager, you will be assigned a specific territory/client/niche to grow and develop. You will love the art of a prospect calling and the thrill of making a "close". You consider yourself a "hunter" more than a "farmer" and you look for every opportunity to do business with a new client.
  • You will be reaching out to new and existing top professionals in Ottawa, recruiting for open contract assignments.
  • The position is primarily sales, and best suited to those who have some inside sales or customer service experience, are goal oriented, possess an excellent telephone manner, and are strong at multi-tasking.
  • This role involves advertising, interviewing and conducting references. You will be recruiting for specialized government professionals.
  • You will be forging new relationships with Ottawa’s hiring managers and continuing to communicate with existing clients over the telephone and in person at sales meetings.
  • You will provide excellent customer service throughout the placement cycle.
  • The successful candidate will make a high volume of out bound sales and recruiting calls.
  • You will manage contracts, providing superior service to consultants and clients.
  • As you grow your client base you will also manage the job placements that you negotiate to a close. Winning, negotiating and the ability to build solid relationships are key ingredients to being compensated competitively.

Qualifications and Experience

  • The core hours are 8:00 to 5:00 with flexibility to take care of last minute client needs at the end of the day
  • Fluency in French and English is required.

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma
