5G Radio Integrator

 

Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Radio Integrator on our Dell 5G R&D team in Ottawa.

What you’ll achieve

As the 5G Radio Integrator with Dell, your primary responsibility will be to integrate 5G RU (Radio Units) into ORAN (Open RAN) solutions.  You will also focus designing and developing the test methodologies to help drive emerging technologies in our Dell 5G R&D team. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable taking accountability and can adapt easily to meet the needs of our rapidly evolving business. The ideal candidate is customer focused, results driven, innovative, works well on a team, and acts with integrity.

You will:

  • Collaborate with team to deliver 5G Radio integration in the ORAN Solution.

  • Collaborate on quality process to ensure industry standard 5G Radio requirements are met.

  • Collaborate and develop a suite of RF test & automation tools.

  • Investigate 5G Radio issues, debug problems, and make technical recommendations.

Essential Requirements

  • Organized, goal-oriented, self-starter, with a team focused mentality

  • Experience integration/testing/automation of wireless technologies

  • Experience working with or programming on Linux distributions

Desirable Requirements

  • University Degree in Technology (Engineering / Software Development)

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Knowledge of ORAN, 3GPP, 5G NR

  • Software development skills (Python, Jira and GIT)
