THE ROLE
The Policy, Procedures and Training Coordinate will coordinate the process for initiating, developing, implementing and reviewing policies and procedures and related documents. They plan and coordinate the delivery of training and development programs for employees. They assist in preparing lessons using a variety of training methods, such as discussion groups, needs assessments, seminars, case studies, field assignments. They assist in the development of curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses. They coordinate the provision of training materials such as hardware, software and Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Adult Education, Business Administration, or a related field AND several years of experience in an administrative work environment as well as in training and development, or a related field
Experience
In designing, developing and delivering training and development programs
In e-learning training applications and methods
In creating visual aids as support material for training courses
In project coordination
In document proofing and editing
In drafting, editing, and interpreting policies and procedures
In planning, conducting and delivering training and presentations
In preparing and using document tracking tools
In coordinating the development and distribution of documentation
In maintaining electronic and manual filing systems
In compiling and maintaining data
In preparing reports
In using team collaboration software tools and work management and automation software
Competencies, Skills and Abilities
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English or French Essential, Bilingual an asset

OTHER INFORMATION
This position has an assigned location and may allow flexible work options such as remote or hybrid work but the employee must be able to report to the assigned work location at their own cost if required. Remote work may be required depending on health and safety considerations.
