THE ROLE
As an Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator, you will coordinate and administer the occupational health and safety program, providing advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, guidelines, and plans. You will participate in the development and implementation of occupational health and safety programs and plans, coordinate their implementation and monitor to develop solutions and make recommendations. You will collect and analyze data in regards to compliance with legislation, policies, programs and plans.
The Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator, will also assist with the development and dissemination of communication materials, including monitoring and updating the organization’s website. You will participate in projects, coordinate project logistics, and track the completion of deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED
Education, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field
Experience

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
English Essential or French Essential
Bilingual an asset
Reading: Advanced
Writing: Advanced
