The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain a Reliability Status Government clearanceThe Role:Understands business needs to define, document, and ensure buy-in, of highly complex or critical business and operational processes and concepts of operationDiscovers, defines, and documents business requirements leveraging a technical understanding of the products and services in the Telesat LEO ecosystem while also aligning expectations of commercial teamsBusiness owner of requirements for various internal and external customer facing software tools or other applications that support B/OSSIdentifies, develops, and documents process to ensure achievement of desired business resultsAnalyzes testing results to ensure the solution meets the true needs of the businessInvestigates problems and develops recommendations for resolutionWorks with systems analysts to ensure processes are feasible and robust within timeline and resource constraintsPartner with technical product managers, technical writers, engineering, operations, IT, and commercial teams to document procedures for internal and external consumptionEducation & Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree, preferably in analytical fieldMinimum of 5 years’ experience as business and process analyst with preference in SATCOM or Telecommunication sectorSpecialized Knowledge, Skills or Abilities:Experience with process modeling notation such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and/or Event-driven Process Chain (EPC) highly desirableExpert at eliciting the actual needs of stakeholders, not simply their expressed desiresBasic understanding of satellite communication, network and/or telecommunication technologiesDemonstrated experience in telecom BSS/OSS systems preferredExceptional interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skillsStrong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skillsBe able to write and communicate in a concise manner to convey information appropriately for internal or external audienceSelf-motivated and demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to manage priorities, timelines and quality of workAble to manage sensitive documents and information in compliance with company policiesSoft skills to ensure buy-in on transformational projectOccasional travel, including international travel is anticipated.Preference is to have this resource physically located in Ottawa The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain a Reliability Status Government clearance
