OverviewHarris is seeking a highly motivated individual with a professional accounting designation to take on the role of Senior Internal Auditor at our Harris corporate head office.

Ideal candidates will have a solid grounding in audit, accounting, finance, taxation, and general business with superior analytical skills, strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of success.

Public company experience, particularly in the Software or Technology sector is considered an asset.

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and future potential within the Harris group.

Reporting to the CFO of Harris and Director of Internal Audit of Constellation Software Inc.

(parent company) you will be managing and executing on the internal audit mandate to provide the Audit Committee and Harris’ senior management reasonable assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and business processes.Details In this Sr.

Internal Auditor role, you will plan and execute internal audits and assisting with other audit matters and projects to fulfill the internal audit mandate.

You will focus on financial reviews, evaluations and recommend operational best practices which will improve our internal controls and assist senior management in achieving compliance standards.

What will be your impact?

Plan and execute audit assignmentsDevelop and deliver an audit opinion on the effectiveness of internal controls through completion of the audit processReporting of internal audit findings through internal audit reports and presentations Liaise with senior finance teams on financial, reporting, and other issuesFollow up on and remediate open audit findingsDetermine compliance with Financial, IT and Legal policies and proceduresAssess business processes, procedures, and methodologies to improve operational efficiencies and mitigate riskDetailed review of key financial deliverables as part of the quarter-end process and report findings to the CFO & VP Internal AuditOther ad-hoc operational analysis and special projects as they arise What are we looking for?

3+ years of financial and risk based auditing experience, including a good understanding of risks and controls Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation Current knowledge of audit industry best practicesWillingness to travel occasionally, within North America What we would love to see?

Demonstrated strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution abilitiesExcellent analytical, problem solving skills and writing skillsAbility to adapt to change quickly, multi-task, set priorities and plan appropriatelyComfortable around senior management, can maintain composure in challenging situations and has the interpersonal savvy to deal with all levels in the organizationPublic company or software/technology industry experienceFinancial systems knowledge and familiarity; Great Plains or Blackline experience an asset but not essentialPublic company experience, particularly in the Software or Technology sector What we offer?
