This individual will be the key person for supporting the Operations team by developing reports and dashboards that help monitor performance, as well as conduct deep dive analysis to identify process improvements and efficiencies.

Reporting directly to the Operations Reporting Manager, the Reporting Analyst will explore what’s really hiding in data; allowing for clearer insight, a better decision, a competitive advantage and most importantly, the success of our business, our retail partners and our customers.

What you will be doing: Developing reports and dashboards that help monitor processes and assess if procedures are being followed Conduct deep dive analysis to identify process improvements and efficiencies Analyze metrics to ensure customer service levels are measured and adhered to in the Contact Center Draw conclusions and provide explanations and make recommendations based on analysis Take ownership of and produce deliverables accurately and on time with minimal supervision, be accountable for results Continually improve processes and document procedures for producing deliverables Effectively and concisely present key findings to senior management, external liaisons, and other team members Why you would love to work here: You’ll be a part of an award-winning, fast-growing company Our innovative culture promotes on-going learning opportunities with training and mentorship Competitive compensation package commensurate to experience plus benefits Comprehensive drug/medical/dental insurance, we pay your premiums RRSP program with company match A new and vibrant office environment and remote working capability Extra-long weekends in the summer, paid volunteer day What you should have: 2 years of experience in reporting, analytics and strategy development in the financial services industry, experience in Operations Analysis a plus Proven experience using SQL to perform queries to analyze, extract and validate data Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft SSRS considered an asset Proven ability to effectively analyze and interpret large amounts of raw data to accurately convey business need.

Demonstrated ability to identify issues of a complex nature and effectively resolve Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and strong working knowledge in presenting quantitative data via PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.

Ability to adjust to fluctuating workload with the pressure of aggressive deadlines Solid knowledge of financial services industry and the products and services related to operations processes Soft Skills: Someone who likes to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty; but is happy to work independently Excellent communicator with strong oral and written communication skills Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized and detail-oriented and can initiate proactively Strong work ethic, curious and persistent determination in reviewing and reconciling variances Bonus – Earned experience developing technology products in an award-winning Fintech ‘startup’ Flexiti embraces diversity.
