Millwright BLENDTECH is searching for a talented Millwright to join our team The successful candidate is highly mechanically inclined and willing to join us as a partner in success in a growing company.

This is a full-time permanent position working out of our head office in Vaughan, ON.

Competencies: Attention to detail Ability to multi-task under pressure Communication skills Ownership Professionalism Resourceful Hands on Experience Key Responsibilities Identify and diagnose ongoing mechanical issues or trends in equipment failure to maximize equipment reliability Review and interpret issues, specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures Being on-call for daily operations and emergency responses Expertly work with variety of handheld and Shop equipment Liaise with Project Managers to identify equipment deficiencies and repairs or upgrades Always adhere to company and site health and safety protocols; conduct inspection, identification, and resolutions to daily safety issues Any other duties as assigned About You: Ontario Licensed Millwright certificate is required 5-10 years’ experience in related field PMH or PM3 is a strong asset Experience in oil and gas industry is a strong asset Valve and rotating equipment experience and training Strong verbal and written communication skills High-level understanding of health and safety protocols and procedures in a similar industry Basic electrical training is a strong asset Proficiency in Microsoft Office Must be comfortable lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Must have valid driver’s license Must be comfortable working flexible hours with occasional after hours support We Value Our Team : Paid Time Off Vacation Annual Bonus Health and Dental Benefits after 3 months RRSP Match after 1 year Educational Reimbursement Working Environment & Physical Demands Prolonged standing Long shifts working in the shop This job will require periodic visits to job sites and some flexibility in terms of working hours may be required.
