Insolvency administrator


This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted August 8, 2019.

Administrator required in our clients Estate and Insolvency team.If you’re looking to join a reputable national organization, this role is for you!The ideal professional will have experience in Estate and Insolvency, have strong communication skills, and have an understanding of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.This role offers with a competitive salary range, pension, wellness programs, professional development and more!Roles and ResponsibilitiesProcess transactions, compile information and prepare final fee and disbursement calculation worksheet for presentation on Trustee’s final statement of receipts and disbursements.Prepare and distribute final documentation, billings, dividends, statements and other distributions for Trustee application for discharge.File documentation such as correspondence, invoices, deposits and statements for each trust bank account.Review and verify accuracy of information received from debtors and creditors.Advise consumer debtors and identify possible solutions to manage and resolve their debt.Monitor clients’ monthly voluntary payments and record asset realization, tax refunds and monthly payments received.Qualifications and ExperienceTwo to five years of similar professional work experience.Experience in a professional services industry is an asset.Intermediate proficiency with Word and Excel and experience with Insolvency management software.Strong English communications skills; oral and written.Understanding the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA) or equivalent work experience in the legal or financial industries.
