This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted November 30, 2019.

Tuesday, November 19, 2019 | About the role Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer and the Audit and Finance Committee, the Head, Internal Audit leads and is accountable for Payments Canada’s Internal Audit function.

They will leverage their knowledge of Payments Canada and the industry to stay apprised of organizational activities and changes to help inform internal audit planning activities and lead the development of the Internal Audit function as a strategic business partner for Payments Canada’s governance, risk management and internal control activities.

| You’ll be doing things like Leading the development of the audit strategy, evolution of the audit approach, and associated training and change management to drive enhanced value.

Leading the development of the 3 year risk-based internal audit plan, overseeing the plan execution, and reporting the progress against plan and other key elements to senior management and the Audit & Finance Committee.

Maintaining and effectively managing internal and external relationships with key stakeholders including senior management, Audit & Finance Committee, and audit service providers.

Produce high quality audit reports for senior management and the Audit & Finance Committee.
