JOB DESCRIPTIONAddEnergie is seeking an innovative, talented, and experienced applications engineer to join our team and support the development of our branded networks including FLO.

The role will require the individual to be a product expert who can manage and drive the continued evolution of our Application engineering services across Canada and the US.

The company also has regional offices in Montreal (Quebec), Mississauga (Ontario), Vancouver (British Columbia) and Rochester (New York).For more information, visit addenergie.Com andflo.Com BY JOINING OUR TEAM, YOU WILL PARTICULARLYSupport the sales and the business development teams through providing technical leadership to ensure existing and new customers extract the full value of FLO’s solutions; Develop strong relationships and train specifiers such as electrical engineers, electrical contractors and architects on FLO’s technical solutions; Engage with Product and R& D teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of AddEnergie’s technology which will be required to support sales and business development activities including training electrical engineers as part of their specification processes and procedures; Work with our Product and Design teams to evaluate customer requirements and industry trends with a focus on identifying and providing reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process; Assist in bringing new products to market and coordinate the implementation of technology pilot projects that demonstrate the value of our products and services to key customers such as Utilities; Engage with theSales and Product teams to develop new processes and tools such as application notes and design guidelines that support customers to understand our products and services; Report challenges and possible solutions to the product team to help drive innovation and highlight product improvements; Develop a strong collaborative and consultative relationship with customers and key technical personnel; Act as the single point of contact for the deployment of FLO’s technical solutions; Assist in the preparation and delivery of customer proposals such as quotation Tender documents, Requests For Proposals, and Requests For Quotations, and various other business development initiatives that require technical expertise; Assist in the management of key customer accounts working closely with the sales team to build the sales pipeline.

This includes supporting activities with branded network partners including key Utilities to continue to serve these channels; Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases; Conduct regularbusiness reviews with key accounts to maximize selling opportunities and potential profit generating solutions.ABOUT YOUBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry role; 5+ years’ work experience in engineering services; Fully bilingual(English and French), spoken and written; Ability to readarchitectural, mechanical and electrical designs and have a solid understanding of basic electrical and mechanical systems; A solid understanding of energy management and network communications technologies; Willingness to travel frequently across Ontario, Quebec and Maritimes; Experience withsupporting sales in hardware and SaaS products that are targeted towards cities, utilities, fleets, and workplaces; Persuasive communication skills and professional presentation talent, coupled with sound judgement and the ability to act on your own initiative; Computer proficient, with experience using MS Office products and CRM tools (preference shown to experience with Salesforce); Efficient time manager with an amplitude for multi-tasking; Problem solver who can organize and prioritize.
