This position contributes to maintaining high standards of client service, quality control and operational excellence.In your role as an Estate and Trust Administrator, you will be accountable for maintaining a high level of communication with STO, Estate& Trust Advisor (ETA), Regional Trust Officer (RTO) Regional Trust Administrator (RTA) and Tax Specialist (TS) on estate and trust administration issues.

You will prepare standard letters, forms, releases required for estate and trust administration.

Diarize and follow up on initial inquiry and collection activities with third parties using a variety of communication tools keeping STO, ETA, RTO and RTA informed of progress as well as preparing account opening, initial set up of document files and on-going maintenance activities for estate and trust accounts, including closing of accounts.In addition to obtains documents, including notarial copies of Wills, Declarations of Transmission, Death Certificates, you will also co-ordinate the receipt and distribution of assets, including re-registration of assets and cash distributions; Mails letters and documents with enclosures and Prepares payments and deposits for accounts.What You Need:The ideal candidate will possess a community college or equivalent plus a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the financial services industry related to Estates, Trusts and on-going development through STEP Canada CETA Program preferred.Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.Bilingualism (English/French) ismandatory.What You Bring:You have the demonstrated ability to interpret legal documentsYou thrive in a complex, ever-changing environment predicated on multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.You are inspired by doing the best for your clients, whether it be problem solving or providing timely and accurate advice.You are an outstanding communicator.
