Associate, Corporate Access


This is a Contract position in Ottawa, ON posted May 9, 2021.

What is the opportunity?

RBC’s Corporate Access team provides a full suite of consultative and logistics services to bring institutional investors and corporate clients together.

Responsible for delivering a seamless client experience.

Coordination and execution of Analyst and Corporate marketing events, Deal Roadshows, collaborating internally, increasing the quality of RBC’s marketing pipeline, ensuring consistent application of global standards and managing feedback data to drive a valued client-focused brand experience.

What will you do?

Manage the coordination and execution of logistics for Analyst and Corporate Marketing, as well as Deal Related roadshows.

This includes, but not limited to: client targeting, roadshows, bespoke (reverse roadshows) and group fieldtrips, site visits, seminars, conference scheduling, expert events, salesforce briefings, investor/corporate prep packages, feedback and sourcing venues Partner with Sales, Research and ECM to set event objectives and identify investor targets.

Create clear lines of communication pre, during and post event to ensure each event has a successful outcome Collect feedback post marketing events.

Share content with Research and the Global Corporate Access Relationship Management team to generate more Corporate Marketing mandates globally Prepare investor/corporate prep packages, investor profiles and other marketing materials, applying consistent global firm standards to deliver on-brand experience to clients Maintain promising practices when entering data in the event planning system and CRM and work closely with the Client Submissions team to improve accuracy of our reports Support execution of industry conferences as needed Building and maintaining relationships with key corporate contacts through the coordination and execution process to increase RBC’s brand loyalty Assist with internal meeting coordination and projects/initiatives as needed to support the Global Corporate Access team Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis What do you need to succeed?

Must-have Undergraduate degree in a related field Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in Corporate Access, Sales or closely related business group Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills Detail oriented with ability to prioritize and multi task Exceptional analytical skills and strong understanding of PowerPoint, Excel and data management tools Acute attention to detail, with ability to prioritise and multi-task, managing a large number of projects concurrently Ability to use initiative, forward plan and remain calm under pressure Enthusiastic and motivated team player, keen to learn and develop Experience in a fast paced environment that requires quick turnaround and decision making What’s in it for you?
