Job Summary AddEnergie /FLO is seeking a talented and business-oriented application engineer to join our team and support the development of our branded networks including FLO.

The role will require the individual to be a product expert who can manage and drive the continued evolution of our a pplication engineering services in the Pacific Northwest region in Canada and the US .

The candidate must have proven technical skills and a track record of supporting sales and product teams as the key customer-facing technical advisor and product advocate .

Responsibilities Partner closely with sales account managers to build the sales pipeline by provid ing technical leadership to help translate the full value of AddEnergie / FLO’s solutions for existing and new customers; Develop a strong collaborative and consultative relationship with key customers and technical stakeholders ; Develop and maintain strong relationships with and train specifiers such as electrical engineers, electrical contractors , and architects on AddEnergie / FLO’s technical solutions; Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to maximize selling opportunities and potential profit generating solutions; Work with the Product and R&D teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of AddEnergie /FLO’s technology to support sales and business development activities , including training electrical engineers during their specification processes; Work with the Product and Design teams to evaluate customer requirements and industry trends with a focus on providing reliable solutions to technical issues through out all stages of the sales process ; Assist in bringing new products to market and coordinate the implementation of technology pilot projects that demonstrate the value of AddEnergie /FLO products and services to key customers such as u tilities; Engage with the Sales and Product teams to develop new processes and tools such as application notes and design guidelines to help customers understand our products and services; Report challenges with possible solutions and highlight product improvements in a systematic way to the P roduct team to help drive innovation ; Act as the single point of contact for the deployment of AddEnergie / FLO’s technical solutions ; Assist in the preparation and delivery of customer proposals such as R equests F or P roposal and Requests For Quotation, and various other business development initiatives that require technical expertise; Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in databases .

Personal Profile Experience working in a fast-changing industry and thrive in a high-growth environment with ambiguity ; Bachelor’s degree in e ngineering (preferably e lectrical, m echatronics) , t echnical f ield, or equivalent successful experience in a similar industry role ; 5 y ears work experience in engineering services ; Service-oriented , with e xperience supporting sales in hardware and SaaS products that are targeted towards municipalities /c ities, u tilities, fleets, and commercial; Experience working with electrical plans and architectural drawings and with working knowledge of electrical power distribution systems in buildings ; A solid understanding of energy management and network communications technologies ; Experience w ith analyzing , visualizing and presenting data for customer insights ; Willingness to travel frequently across the Pacific Northwest region ; A strategic listener and an effective communicator with interpersonal skills capable of relating well to individuals at all levels of an organization and present ing professionally to both colleagues and clients ; Detail-oriented, coupled with the ability to act on your own initiative ; Highly organized , able to manage multiple accounts and projects in different stages ; Problem solver , able to troubleshoot issues systematically and to prioritiz e ; Computer proficient, with experience using Microsoft Office products and CRM tools (preference shown to experience with Salesforce); Team player and good sense of humo u r with commitment to succeed .
