ADI is looking for a highly skilledEmbedded Algorithm Development Engineerbased inOttawa, Ontario Canada.

In this job you will have the opportunity to work within the Wireless Platform Group (WPG) expanding new product and market segments.As an Embedded Algorithm Development Engineer, you will perform a full range of product development activities including, but not limited to:Job Duties:Understand, design and develop firmware algorithms used for enhancing RF/IC/Radio performanceWork closely with algorithm and signal processing experts, Rx/Tx sub-system architects, design engineers and product engineersDevelop appropriate simulation models and analyze simulation resultsTroubleshoot complex problems involving firmware and algorithms interacting with mixed signal circuits in the laboratoryAssist with system level troubleshooting when issues arise in customer prototype systems or in the fieldRequirements:MSEE or BSEEand 8+ years of relevant embedded software development experienceDigital Signal Processing Experience (DSP) with solid algorithm development skills including Digital Filters, Digital Mixers, Frequency/Waveform Synthesis, Adaptive Signal ProcessingPrior experience with real-time operating systems and embedded software development paradigmsSolid Knowledge of RF systemsExperience with modelling and mixed-signal simulationExperience with scripting and modeling languages such as Matlab or PythonPrior exposure to Big Data & Machine Learning is an assetExperience with SCM tools (GIT, SVN, Clearcase, Perforce, etc.), Software development processes (e.G.
