We are known for delivering innovative solutions that maximize the productivity and profitability of Canadian businesses.Reporting to the field foreman, the candidate will be responsible for servicing the Ottawa area as a technician on the road.

He will be the main contact in the established territory for repairs and maintenance of our telescopic equipment: Merlo, SkyTrak and Snorkel.Department: ServiceMain Responsibilities Employ diagnostic methodologies to determine repairs required over the telephone and on site; Explain diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals; Efficiently plan and manage repairs and scheduled maintenances; Complete the various service documents clearly within the prescribed time; Order parts needed to repair and maintain equipment; Follow procedure for Warranty work and parts crediting; Promote Manulift values to existing and potential clients; Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience And Desired Skills Diploma in mechanics (heavy equipment); 5 – 10 years of experience as heavy duty or construction equipment mechanic; 3 years of experience as a road technician; Bilingualism: fluency in French and English both orally and in writing; Advanced knowledge in hydraulics, electrical and electronic; Valid driver’slicense with a clean driving record; Good work ethic, meticulous, motivated and independent; Solid aptitudein diagnostic; Strong writtenand oral communication skills; Why Manulift?
