INVIRO is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Engineering Administrative Assistant.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career as an Engineering Administrative Assistant, we’re excited to bring you onto our team.Duties and Responsibilities:Uses computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD) equipment and software to develop designs Create and revise production drawingsAdhere to company Drafting and Engineering StandardsResponsible for maintaining an organized file system for Production DrawingsThe duties and responsibilities mentioned, while not exhaustive, represent responsibilities that the CAD Operator will hold.

The responsibilities listed may change over time, as instructed by INVIRO.Qualifications and Requirements:Prior exposure to drafting mechanical building systems in CAD (HVAC & Plumbing emphasis)Degree or Certificate in Mechanical EngineeringKnowledge of the ASHRAE and other relevant codes and standards used in the design of HVAC and building systemsThe ability to understand and follow oral and written directions, to read complex blueprints, piping sketches, schematics and wiring diagramsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamFrench communication skills are an assetProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD design softwareExperience with Revit MEP is an assetThis position is full time and located in Ottawa.
