Position Overview:

We are seeking for someone who can work as much in the warehouse as at the service counter or in the office. Someone who has their clients best interests at heart and shares our values. We are looking for a person that can think on their feet, multitask and prioritize their daily tasks and those of others. As part of our warehouse team, receiving goods, preparing customer orders and ensure proper shipping practices, verifying stock, and providing an excellent customer experience to our clients are just a few key tasks that will keep your days busy. Working with your local team, while innovating and collaborating with other Warehouse/Service Managers across Canada, you will be the person responsible of the service level provided to our clients, of maximizing our stock management, as well as maintaining our infrastructures.

Main Responsibilities:

Using Ceratec’s processes, and real-time computerized inventory system, you will run the day to day warehouse operations for a small size distribution center. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage shipping and receiving of products and control stock inventory. Suggest improvements to increase local efficiency and productivity. Manage and ensure warehouse maintenance and local equipment. Assist with controlling costs, getting quotes and negotiate local contracts for maintenance and equipment;

  • Collaborate with our sales force, our customer contact center and other internal stakeholders in providing excellent client experience. Ensure everything runs smoothly with other departments and resolve local customer complaints;

  • Manage employee performance (day to day, attendance, probation period, annual evaluation, etc.) and engage employees towards Ceratec’s vision and culture. Ensure proper health and safety practices throughout all work activities. Ensure compliance with Head Office’s procedures and policies, foster good relations and communications with all Ceratec branches and employees. Participate in local human resources processes, such as, hiring, training, performance and disciplinary management, terminations, and/or conflict resolution, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 to 3 years, managing a small to medium size warehouse, including service counter;

  • College/Technical Diploma or Bachelor Degree in a field related to the job would be an asset but is not mandatory;

  • Excellent computer knowledge and skills, including Google Environment and MS-Office suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Word, Excel). Strong experience using a computerized inventory and logistics management system, such as: NxTrend, Microsoft Dynamics AX or NAV, Epicor P21, SAP, JD Edwards, DANCIK, AS400, or similar;

  • Experience with managing and recruiting employees. Strong employee engagement and motivation skills;

  • Customer centric mindset, organized, open-minded, team and solution oriented person;

  • Flexibility in work hours accordingly to needs within a 40 hour work week.

  • Bilingual (french-english)
