Job Description Reporting to the Supervisor, and serving as supply expert, the Store Clerk’s mission is to ensure the parts’ receipt and availability necessary to maintain operations according to the unit’s priorities.

You ensure efficient management of transactions and inventory replenishment by coordinating cyclical counts.

Finally, you apply the best store management practices in order to offer high-quality service that meets the maintenance personnel and suppliers’ needs and respects corporate agreements.

In this way, you contribute to the achievement of your unit’s operational efficiency objectives.

Roles and responsibilities ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Truck Shop Duties Interact and assist shop staff to provide purchase services for stock and non-stocked materials Conduct cycle counts of inventory reconcile with TabWare Complete QTR inventory count verify and certify for Corp.

Accounting Maintain stock room in an organized, safe and clean environment at all truck shops.

Place all stocked material in the proper designated bin location Designate new bin locations in stock room for new parts Investigate all inventory discrepancies between physical count and Tabware Reconcile all parts deliveries received to pick lists or invoices prior to shelving materials Assist with all truck shop work orders for processing Assist with all support documents for purchases/services Assist in maintaining up dated equipment maintenance document files as required by the MTO Create, receive and close purchase orders for the Toronto Division related to parts inventory as required Ensure that all purchase orders documents contain proper GL coding when required Receive and process all packing documents on material/services purchased Update purchase orders issued from TabWare to ensure accuracy of data Create and process all cross charge work orders for contracted services provided by Toronto Division when required Purchase Services Roles and Responsibilities Interact with vendors and receive stock and non-stocked materials Receiving and process all parts documents delivered to the truck shop in TabWare Control all stocked inventory including, re-stocking, reconcile stocked inventory to TabWare records and bin allocation.

Review, correct and process all Truck shop work orders and enter all information in TabWare when required Expense all Truck shop stock materials in TabWare as per in-house work orders Create and issue authorized purchase orders for Truck shop purchases when require Update and maintain preventative maintenance records for all transportation rolling stock equipment in TabWare Provided reports as required to the Transportation Fleet Maintenance Manager.

Safety Roles and Responsibilities Ensure that proper PPE is used when entering into the truck shop This job description indicates the general nature and level of work, duties and responsibilities expected of the incumbent.
