In this job, you’ll optimize and improve web tools and content to engage Canadians in election and issue advocacy campaigns, get voters to the polls, and play a key role in raising money for charities and nonprofits.Working as part of our client’s teams, you’ll spend your days (and some nights) building compelling web experiences that inform and engage voters, recruit volunteers, and grow clients’ donor base.

You’ll be involved in planning, designing, coding, and testing multi-platform digital campaigns, as well as tracking and optimizing user experience.You Believe in making big change happen and are excited about working with causes and movements who believe in that too.

You are creative, collaborative, and a highly-organized self-starter with at least two years experience in web development, A/B testing, and UI/UX work.

You’ll do things like Design, build, deploy, and optimize new web tools that help our clients raise dollars, mobilize volunteers, support the field and advocacy campaigns, and mobilize their supporters across Canada.

Analyse campaign performance and adjust strategy accordingly to improve results.

Test and optimize web properties using standard A/B testing tools and methodologies.

Integrate and utilize analytics tools to measure results and develop actionable insights.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role you’ll need to have You’re super experienced developing with CSS, jQuery (or equivalent Javascript framework) and HTML.

You have some experience with raw Javascript coding skills.

You have experience working with Google Analytics, Optimizely, Google Optimize and similar testing and analytics tools You’re comfortable writing server-side code in PHP or an equivalent language.

At least some exposure to PHP and writing functions in a server-side scripting language.

Passion for working for causes and movements that are working to make social and economic change.

Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Willingness to work long hours and weekends as needed.

These are not required, but having exposure to at least a few of these skills or experiences will help you be even more successful in this role Comfortable working on and managing a linux server.

Front-end UI/UX development and design experience.

Experience working with big data sets – collecting, analyzing, and using.

We expect the position to pay between $5,500 and $8,350 per month depending upon the candidate.Successful candidates must be based in and able to work in Canada.
