Human Resources – Collective Staffing


This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted January 7, 2019.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Analysis of current and forecasted staffing plans and historical staffing processes in order to identify priorities for collectives staffing implementation
  • Review the data and documents analysis and make research on best practices, priorities and external environment that will affect collective staffing within the department
  • As needed, consultation with stakeholders for example HR, clients, and recent hires, to assess candidate experience
  • Delivering a strategy and implementation including a bilingual presentation and a briefing document to management on the proposed methodology and tools that will be used for collective staffing
  • Development of a monitoring process with indicators that allow for quarterly and annual reporting that allow for an assessment of the effectiveness of the collective staffing including the quality of hire

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5 years of experience working on the creation of a collective staffing strategy and implementation plans
  • 3 years of experience working in the public sector
  • Experience in interpreting and applying human resource related policies and directives, including the Public Service Employment Act and Public Service Employment Regulations
  • Fluently bilingual in both English and French and able to present in both languages
