Concorde Hall, our Assisted Living Facility is part of the Parkland in the Valley campus located on Shannex Drive in Quispamsis, NB.

What you will do: Located in Quispamsis, NB at Concorde Hall and reporting to the Client Services Manager as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The Client Services Assistant is responsible for meeting residents’ needs and aspects of personal care according to an individualized service plan.

You will assist residents with activities of daily living and you may perform and assist in light housekeeping, meal preparation, basic laundry service, recreational activities and other related work.

How you will do it: Assist residents with hygiene needs and daily living activities including bathing, dressing, oral care, skin care, positioning in bed, feeding and transferring.

Assist with residents’ restorative care programs, walking and range of motion.

Assist in the planning and implementation of resident leisure activities on a daily basis.

Collaborates with the residents and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Care Plan.

Performs delegated nursing activities according to company policy and scope of practice.

Documentation according to company policy.

Communicates and reports relevant information regarding residents’ care or safety to Supervisor.

The must haves: Personal Care Aid, Human Services Course or Personal Support Worker Program Diploma Current CPR & Emergency First Aid Certification; Ability to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends and holidays; Clear Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check; Supplemental Qualifications considered an asset: Medication Administration Certificate Program or equivalent; Basic food safety training or similar food safety education; Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia Care Course; Back in Form Lift and Transfer Program.

Previous experience in working with the elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment.
