The team is currently managing a number of critical projects in response to regulatory mandates to extend and enhance firmwide Policies and Standards in areas such as Data Security, Asset Disposal and Cloud Security.

Position Description: Responsibilities: Reporting to the Policy team lead, the candidate will be responsible for the following aspects of implementation of Policies & Standards.

Accountable for all aspects of creating and maintaining policies and standards content.

Leading discussions with senior management (CIOs and CIO directs level) on the future pipeline of Policies and Standards enhancements.

Point person for engagement with third parties such as Internal Audit and Regulators on Morgan Stanley’s strategy/plans for policy development.

Supporting various aspects of policy adoption, such as the development of Policy education and awareness programs.

Supporting policy compliance monitoring efforts across the technology divisions, such as providing SME input into the design and implementation of Policy compliance metrics.

Leadership of centrally co-ordinated aspects of implementation of Policies & Standards including Strategy & Planning, Project/Program Management and Management Reporting.

Qualifications Required skills: 5 Years of experience Experience of managing technology teams/functions Proven ability to manage complex programs in an enterprise function where the role did not have direct command/control of all resources (and where negotiation/influencing skills are critical) Proven written and verbal communication skills, to the level of being able to interact directly with department senior management Experience in development and implementation of technical standards A depth of Technology Risk Management Experience, ideally with exposure to the development or adoption of technology policies and standards About us: Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm and a market leader in investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
