Ref ID 05030-0011186682 Classification Payroll Clerk Compensation $28.50 to $31.00 hourly Are you seeking a challenging position at a well-known company?

In this position, you will be expected to support the Payroll department through a number of duties including data entry, reconciliations, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments.

To be an effective part of this dynamic, fast-growing team, the ideal candidate will be capable of effectively communicating with both internal team members and outside customers.

This Payroll Clerk opportunity is based in the Ottawa, Ontario area.

Responsibilities Perform full cycle payroll functions Updating payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers Collect and analyze information including resolving payroll discrepancies Prepare and provide employees with T4’s, T4A’s and related documents Payroll information management via collecting, calculating, and entering data Build and run custom reports Perform reconciliations Prepare monthly reports Provide clerical support by filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
