Nurse/Doctor’s Assistant (RPN)

This is a Contract position in Ottawa, ON posted May 25, 2023.
Under the supervision of the Clinic Director working in a Medical Aesthetics Clinic,the Nurse’s role is to carry out treatments with clients as well as complete consultations and follow up with clients. The ideal candidate will have three (3) years of experience in a similar position doing consultations, general aesthetic, laser and body contouring treatments.
Main responsibilities :
1. Management of treatments and consultations, performing laser and body contouring treatments.
- Make customer appointments.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Do the consultations.
- Perform the treatments according to the protocols.
- Assist physicians during care.
- Track post-treatment clients.
2. Administrative follow-up
- Prepare consultation statistics for management.
- Check the accuracy of the orders.
- Coordinate laser repair in collaboration with the doctor.
- Order medical equipment as needed.
- Diploma of College Studies in Nursing (RPN).
- Hold the license of registered Nurse with certified practice of Ontario
- At least three (3) years of experience in a similar position with consults and laser treatments.
- Spoken and written languages: fluency English, French speaking would be an asset.
