Medical sales representative

Wright Medical

This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted September 9, 2019.

Wright Medical Technology, Inc., headquartered in Memphis, TN, is an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of specialty orthopaedic implants and instrumentation.

Wright’s product offerings include extremity implants for the foot, ankle, hand, elbow, and shoulder.

We also offer both synthetic and tissue-based bone graft substitute materials.

Since its inception, Wright has introduced a number of products that represent new standards in orthopaedic technology.

From new material technologies to advanced products and instrumentation, Wright is committed to finding solutions that enable clinicians to alleviate pain and restore their patients’ lifestyles.

Today we’re looking to add a medical sales representative in the Ottawa/East Ontario territory and if you share our passion for patient health, our curiosity for mechanics of the human body, and a desire for a rewarding, people-oriented career, this could be a great fit!

What to expect in the role.

This medical sales representative will work closely with the East Ontarior team and will be responsible for sales and technical support in Ottawa and surrounding communities.

Succeeding in this role requires building relationships with surgeons, nurses, administrative and materials management personnel.

It involves spending time in the hospital and the operating room, providing guidance on the safe and effective use of our products.

Compensation is salary based with a generous bonus structure.

On top of salary, we offer a robust formal and self-directed learning environment, group benefits and RRSP contribution, vehicle allowance and relevant travel and meal expenses.

Working in the medical device field involves irregular working hours – mornings often start at the hospital around 7:00 a.m.

and essential events and conferences can occur in the evenings and on weekends.

There’s also limited travel in for events, conferences, and training.

In short, this is a job for someone who can trade predictable hours for flexibility to work independently in the dynamic medical device market.

Who we’re looking for.
