Behavioral Therapist


This is a Contract position in Ottawa, ON posted October 6, 2019.

Position Information This position is for the TOH Ontario Worker’s Network (OWN).

The home base will be at the satellite site South Keys and will require rotation between the Rehabilitation Centre and Riverside Campus.

Temporary position until approximately July 27, 2020.

Rotation/Shifts Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements University degree or a three year college diploma in behavioral sciences, psychology or other health related discipline; Knowledge and understanding of work related injuries and the impact on workers; Knowledge, understanding, skills and abilities to apply behavioural analysis and interventions techniques to injured workers in order to facilitate return to work; Excellent oral and written communication, social, problem-solving skills, judgment, flexibility and initiative; Well developed organizational, listening and observational skills, ability to make effective decisions, analyze contradictory information, manage multiple tasks and activities concurrently and make sound recommendations as required; Training and experience in crisis prevention and intervention; Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting; First Aid and CPR certificates; Must be eligible to work in Canada; Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Microsoft software programs (e.g.

Excel, Word, Outlook); Proficiency in English and French
– oral [removed]advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
