This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted November 14, 2017.

Seeking a bilingual executive assistant for a 3 month contract with excelHR’s federal government client.

Responsibilities:
– Supporting a director
– Managing an agenda and the flow of information in the director’s office
– Tracking and composing correspondence using MECTS
– Organizing travel
– Planning meeting logistics and taking minutes
– Ordering office supplies
– Administering a budget and making recommendations
– Managing HR/staffing rquests
– Managing ATIP requests

Minimum of one (1) year of experience with the federal government, as an Executive Assistant.Bilingualism required.

Experience in managing calendars for a director and/or managers.

Experience in maintaining a system for routing and tracking critical, confidential paper and electronic correspondence and ministerial requests such as MECS.

Experience in answering the telephone and taking messages.

Experience in organizing meetings and teleconferences.

Experience in preparing background materials for meetings.

Experience in assembling and disseminating correspondence and briefing materials for meetings.
