Education Program Coordinator


This is a Contract position in Ottawa, ON posted November 28, 2018.


1. Education Program Delivery
Serve as the primary customer service contact for Education events and coordinate thehandling of inquiries
Provide event management for online and in-class deliveries of green building educationprograms; including, but not limited to venues and catering; vendor and instructor liaison;material printing and delivery; and event marketing and promotion.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key education partners; includingnational and chapter staff; content providers; faculty and other stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of marketing tools and content to promote education programs.
Assist with the development and delivery of education products (e.g. webinarhosting; document formatting).

2. Administration
Regularly prepare and report on financial data and key performance indicators related to all Education events (including Chapter events); work with finance to continually improve reporting methods.
Work closely with internal Association Software to open and monitor online education eventregistrations; communicate with customers and run reports.
Work closely with IT support to troubleshoot issues connected to the Association Software.
Assist with the updating of education program descriptions on the intranet and the website
Support the maintenance of contracts (e.g. instructors, content developers, vendors, partners)
Other assignments as required
Recent experience in the administration and delivery of a national education program
Strong experience in event planning and project management
Ability to work with and manage numbers/financials
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Excellent interpersonal skills and proven experience in developing and managing collaborativerelationships with partners and stakeholders
Strong computer and IT skills: Excel, Outlook, experience with databases, filing and trackingsystems, web-based interfaces, basic troubleshooting
Good judgment and decision making; attention to detail; and excellent personal work ethic
Strong oral and written communication skills in both official languages
An interest in the environment and/or sustainable building strategies

Undergraduate degree or Post-secondary Diploma (3 year) in Education Administration or arelated area with 3- 5 years work experience; or, an equivalent combination of education andexperience
Bilingual French and English
