Bilingual Administrative Assistant


This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted July 24, 2018.

excelHR’s private sector client is seeking an experienced and fluently Bilingual Administrative Assistant for their temporary requirement. Only those with complete fluency in both English and French will be considered. A bilingual written or verbal assessment may be required if selected.

Roles and Responsibilities
– Assisting external clients and updating database with client information in both English and French.
– Responding to telephone and email inquiries when required.
– Assisting with calendar management and scheduling of two direct supervisors itinerary.
– Providing clerical assistance when required; scanning, photocopying, data entry, filing and faxing.
– Assisting with translating and drafting writing content for emails and presentation notes.
– Preparing Powerpoint presentations in both languages when required.
– Coordinating travel and hotel arrangements when required.
– Providing back up reception coverage when required.
– Assisting with additional administrative duties and supporting the executive assistants.

Qualifications and Experience
– Bilingual in both French and English (Written and Verbal)
– Strong working knowledge MS Office Suite.
– Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
– Strong attention to detail skills.
– Completion of a post secondary education is required.
