To learn more about CIBC, please visit Job Description What You’ll Be Doing Reporting to the Director, Business Financing Product, the successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that reviews lending facilities to identify due diligence and data integrity issues for referral to frontline management for coaching and training.

The Product Specialist is responsible for reviewing and evaluating the quality of work performed by employees within specific workflows, ensuring established procedures are utilized consistently.

The Product Specialist is required to use detailed working knowledge of the organization, operations, policies, and products to ensure appropriate business procedures are adhered to and monitored.

In addition, the incumbent will support Lending Due Diligence Monitoring activities as directed.

How You’ll Succeed Review and analyze accounts on a daily basis and provide daily feedback and summaries to advisors regarding account remediation activities Use business tools and relevant databases to accurately capture all errors in credit files per established procedures, while ensuring that all error summary reports are prepared and distributed to manager’s as per the defined frequency Monitor departmental mailbox and respond to inquiries according to the agreed upon SLA Build and maintain good working relationship with all business partners and advisors Proactively identify possible process improvements that would increase productivity and ensure optimal efficiency and client satisfaction Support advisors in completing credit requests/ provide training where required Keep informed on all changes to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure accurate account handling Assist in training new incumbents on defined procedures and guidelines to ensure transfer of knowledge and consistency in process Ensure that the risk to the bank is minimized through various control activities.

Assist with other due diligence reviews completed by the Lending Due Diligence Monitoring team based on business needs Who You Are You are knowledgeable.

You have working knowledge of CIBC credit card products, policies and procedures, and applications and tools.

You have working knowledge of the various lines of business within Card Products Division.

You understand that success is in the details.

You are detail oriented to ensure high level of accuracy in all activities.

You are strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

You’re a strong communicator.

You have strong interpersonal and communication skill (written and verbal) to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners and communicate results.

You are digitally savvy.

You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new computer software programs.

You’re adaptable.

You demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

You’re driven.

You are self-motivated, innovative and possess the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.

You are experienced .

You have knowledge of risk management principles, policies and procedures is an asset.

You are bilingual in English/French (this is an asset).
