Reporting to the president this role is responsible for leading the finance, HR, IT and Administrative functions for the organization.As part of the senior management team, you will provide value by ensuring, identifying and measuring key business metrics that will drive company success.
This role will be ideal for an individual who wants to be part of setting the strategic direction for the company but is also comfortable solving the day-to-day operational challenges.
Job Duties Provide leadership to finance and human resources teams Monthly financial statement reporting, cash management and regulatory compliance Oversee management of annual audit Ensure adequate internal controls and procedures are in place Ensure compliance with parent company financial reporting requirements Bank and insurance management Annual budgets and short and long term forecasting Ad hoc reporting to support ever changing business needs Identify, recommend and implement software / hardware solutions to create efficiencies Health and safety management Recruiting, training and employee value strategies Employee benefits management Head office administration Manage outsourced IT relationship and internal support of that relationship Presentations to board, staff, financial institutions, etc.
